At a young age John began his career as an artist. He was an art major at the highly acclaimed H.B. Beal Technical School in London Ontario. Then, he became an Architectural illustrator where he was commissioned to illustrate architectural projects created by some of the world's leading architects and developers.

John's commercial art background gave him a strong foundation for the fine art he creates today.

As a successful painter of the Canadian Landscape, John shares his experience and talent through teaching workshops and instructional videos.
